 Stop the War
23 May 2017

Stop the War condemns the attack in Manchester and sends condolences to all those affected

Last night's bombing at a Manchester concert was a horrific atrocity committed against young people enjoying a night out. Stop the War condemns the attack and sends condolences to the families and friends of those who died and to all of those affected.

The reaction of the people of Manchester has been one of solidarity and compassion. It is vital people continue to respond to the outrage by uniting and resisting hate and scapegoating.

?We do not yet know who is responsible for the attack but terrorist incidents have been increasing around the? globe?. We must continue to campaign for a peaceful world free from conflict and division. ?In particular we must oppose any ?racist backlash that results from this appalling incident.
