PROTEST LETTER
To: Mr.Ban Ki-Moon, Secretary General
UNITED NATIONS ORGANIZATION
Dear Mr. Secretary General,
Unfortunately, we see the foreign interventions against Syria and its People to continue for a long period.
Kings, monarchs, emirs, reactionary and anti-popular governments are sending money and weapons that target to kill the Syrian People.
Now, with excuse the so-called “humanitarian crisis”, some of them are even demanding a military intervention against Syria.
For the WFTU, that has 82 million members in the world, these imperialist interventions are a crime. The UN has a great responsibility by covering these practices.
Today the vast majority of the people understand the real reasons of the imperialist aggressiveness. The reasons are the oil, the gas, the geostrategic games. Ordinary people no longer believe such lies that kings, monarchs and emirs are supposedly interested in democracy.
Mr. Secretary General
We ask for the foreign interventions to immediately stop, for the attacks and the conflicts to stop from all sides. We demand that the Syrian People have the right to decide freely, democratically for its present and its future.
