There was nothing defensive about the attack on Iraq it was premidated agression. Not only that to initiate and war of aggression against 3 countries, Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and then Iraq none of which had even the fig leaf of UN support shows the enormity of the crimes of Britain's pro war New Labour government and her majestyopposition over the last 13 years  There is only one question that can be put to Blair and his cabinet and the conservative shadow cabinet that supported them.  What do you plead.

A point very well put by Colin Redpath, whose son Kirk died in Iraq in 2007, sums up why we'll be
there: "If you are found to be lying and have misled the British public, and we
were taken into an illegal
war, what I want to know is, will he be tried for this crime?
If not, why have this inquiry?"

What should be the aim for the enquiry when the facts are clear.  These are the facts. This the evidence. The attack on Iraq was a war of aggression a crime against the peace and what followed the consequences is a million people died and people are still dying.

•Over 1 million Iraqis killed;
 Approximately, 2 million widows Iraq
•4.5 million Iraqis displaced from their homes -- more than half of them as refugees -- that's one sixth of the population;
o More than 4 million are below poverty level
•More than 60 percent of households have no access to clean water;
•40 percent of children in Basra and 70 percent in Baghdad do not attend school;
•5 million children are orphans;
•About one in five children are thought to be chronically malnourished.
2- It has lost more than 5,500 of its scientists and academics, killed, imprisoned, or emigrated.
1- 70% of its doctors have emigrated.
8- Widespread mental illness and drug addiction and the widespread growth of opium poppy plantations and opium for the first time since occupation.
10- The spread of epidemics and the loss of credibility of all statistics and the lack of statistics of cholera, Measles, Diphtheria and Whooping Cough, and Toxoplasmosis and a worsening situation of Tuberculosis and HIV Aids.
13- The proliferation of landmines in the sites of the old wars, as well as unexploded ordinance, especially in Basra and in the border areas.
17 - The highest rates of infant and newborn mortality in the world.
o Insufficient food for more than eight million.
 More than 400,000 have been detained and prisoned.
More than 28% of the population is unemployed.

How can a government which is continuing to wage a war of occupation  in Afghanistan  which is now interfering in the affairs of Yemen. Which supports the US threats against Iran. How can such a government be fit fit to govern let alone hold an enquiry into the Iraq war.  How can Gordon Brown hold a conference  on terrorism when this government  along with Bush are the worlds greatest terrorists. That is a fact. “Blair lied and and millions have  died”

All of all of the peace loving people of Brtiain  must take a stand not to elect any of the this cartel of warmongering parties.  The only just conclusion of this enquiry can be that never again should a government of Britain commit such war crimes against he people of the world. That the troops should be brought home from Afghanisatan and all foreign soil, End to Britain involvement in alliance with  the US and NATO and that britian should have an anti-war government  that respect other sovereign countries and strives to resolve conflicts peacefully.
